Pootles Design Team July week 4

The final week of my participation in the Pootles Design Team. 

I have thoroughly enjoyed my month playing with Orange blossom and hopefully will be joining in again. 

I have had a delivery of some fab Embellishments and couldn't wait to use the Hearts & Stars Elements. There are 72 in the set and great value. 

The card base was Fresh Fig and I layered with a card from the Perfect Days Memories & More pack and Lemon Lime Twist card.

One Sheet Wonder Using Eastern Beauty

Todays post has been something I have wanted to do for a while.
The idea for these came from a Pootles Team member Angelina who is Intatwyne Designs. She made these for Team retreat swaps and I loved them.
I used a retired paper Moroccan Designer paper but this will look great with anything.
The stamp set and dies are Eastern Medallions and can be purchased as a set saving 10%!!

 

Wow 20 cards only using 1 sheet of 12 x 12 designer series paper They are made with C6 card in Very Vanilla, layered with Early expresso card and Cajun Craze. 

I have loved making these so its something the Coffee & Card class are starting this week.

Pootles Design Team July week 3

Hello and welcome to week 3 of the Pootles Design July project 

This one took a lot of playing with and card stock put in the bin. I have wanted to wrap this Yankee Candle for a dear friend and just couldn't get it how I wanted, this candle is huge . I put a message on the team Facebook group for assistance and Amanda said just use 2 sheets of paper. Why didn't I just do that in the first place , sometimes the more I think the less productive I am. 

I played with silver embossing but that didn't look right so finished with just plain black card stock that I think just made it pop with the pink.

Coffee & Card project last week.

This week I wanted to showcase some of Ladies project from craft club.
Vicky Moss who is part of my team made a beautiful card with the Beautiful You stamp set and Daisy punch. And I asked her if she would help us do one at class. Pootles Design Team July week 2

It's that time of week when it's the Pootles Design Team blog Hop. 

This week was a little hard, struggled to get my crafting mojo going. A few samples hit the bin but I refused to give in. I really wanted to use the new in colours so I picked out Berry Burst and Powder Pink.

I wanted to use the beautiful triple flower stamp in the set and decided to layer it on the powder pink using the Layering Square Framelits. I then really needed a longer sentiment so I chose one from the Vertical Greeting stamp set and layered this with the same Powder Pink. Finished with a little ribbon and the Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
