Pootles Design Team July week 2

It's that time of week when it's the Pootles Design Team blog Hop. 

This week was a little hard, struggled to get my crafting mojo going. A few samples hit the bin but I refused to give in. I really wanted to use the new in colours so I picked out Berry Burst and Powder Pink.

I wanted to use the beautiful triple flower stamp in the set and decided to layer it on the powder pink using the Layering Square Framelits. I then really needed a longer sentiment so I chose one from the Vertical Greeting stamp set and layered this with the same Powder Pink. Finished with a little ribbon and the Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Pootles Design Team July week 1

I am thrilled to be part of the Pootles Design Team for the first time , although a little nervous I must say. The stamp set I am using is the Orange Blossom stamp set. We are given a stamp set and asked to make one project per week on our blogs for the month of  July. Here is my Project  week one. 

I have been making teacher gifts as my Son finishes school this week, a few of those were a lovely bottle of wine. What better way to wrap a gift , a box made to fit. 

A very inexpensive project using just 3 colours making my own patterned paper. Pear Pizzaz, Pink Pirouette and Dapper Denim. The box was Dapper Denim card stock and the ribbon was the new incolour finely woven ribbon in powder pink.

Team Swaps.

Hello everyone as promised here are the Team swaps I received on our weekend away. Swaps are something that can help creativity, I take a project to 'swap' with another demonstrator. Mine were the ones on the top picture
