Last weekend I went on a team retreat weekend hosted by Sam Hammond .. Pootles  with 41 other demonstrators. the highlight of my year. We crafted and laughed all weekend. I was buzzing with ideas when I got home. There will be a blog post coming about the weekend soon.

I am looking forward to the next one in November which will include our corporate event as well

Wood Words Hello Friend

Hello Friend 

What a stunning stamp set 'Wood Words' is heat embossed. 

Today's card was something I saw on Pinterest but changed the colours around. I am sorry I can't remember the original crafter but happy to add if someone does. I run two classes a week from my home and this is the project we did last week.

The Wood Texture paper stack is fantastic to use as a backing and instead of plain paper. 

I heat embossed the flower stamp from Wood Words with versamark and used copper Emboss powder. Just a little colouring in in Cajun Crazy and Pear Pizzazz and finished in no time at all. 

The finishing touch was the copper trim ribbon.

Daisy delight team Retreat swaps

Daisy Delight swaps.

Throughout the year our team leader's leader.. Pootles has a team retreat where we can all meet ,craft together and pick up some great business support. I have been fortunate to be able to make the next one and I am so excited to meet some more people from the team. 

Those that wish can make swaps that we can exchange gifts. So this could be a card front , a box or anything inspiring to give us all fresh ideas. This is mine a lovely box with a treat inside. 

I used the Daisy Delight stamp set for the beautiful daisy , with the matching Delightful daisy paper. I decided to finish it of in the middle with one of our stunning faceted gold gems. The ribbon was the Daffodil Delight double stitched ribbon that has a cross stitch pattern on one side and line on the other. 

When I return I will show you all the wonderful swaps I received.
